June Huang, Violin
June Huang, violinist, holds a Master of Music degree from the
University of California, where she was a member of the Young Artist String
Quartet, and a Bachelor Music degree from Oberlin Conservatory of Music. She
performs regularly with numerous orchestras at the Kennedy Center and the Music
Center at Strathmore. Receiving much critical acclaim as a baroque violinist,
she concertizes and records regularly with the Washington Bach Consort, Opera
Lafayette, National Cathedral Baroque Orchestra, Folger Consort and Wolf Trap
Opera Company. Ms. Huang is also in frequent demand as a Suzuki clinician and is
on the faculty of the Blue Ridge Suzuki Camp. She is Director of the Levine
School of Music String Camp/Strings Plus in Washington D.C. and teaches
privately in Fairfax, Virginia. Ms. Huang is a former member of the Cascade
String Quartet. This will be her 16th season at Red Lodge Music Festival.
